George Foreman 2-Serving Classic Plate Electric Indoor Grill and Panini Press, Black, GR10B

  • 2 Servings - Tight on countertop space? This grill is your answer. It fits two servings of your grilled favorites, and it’s perfect for small apartments and couples
  • Classic Plate Grill - This is the original George Foreman Grill. The durable grill plates give you lean, mean grilling power for all your favorite foods
  • George Tough Nonstick Coating - There’s a lot to love about this nonstick coating. It’s durable, easy to clean, and reduces the need for butter and oil
  • Fat-Removing Slope - It’s the sure sign of a George Foreman Grill. The sloped grilling surface helps remove up to 42% of fat* for leaner, tasty meals
  • Drip Tray - The dishwasher-safe drip tray collects excess fat and grease so you don’t have to, How nice is that?

My husband and I use this grill everyday and it’s amazing. On the controversy, there are some drawbacks. If left plugged in for too long the top plate becomes extremely hot to the touch. I also dislike how the only way to turn it on and off is to unplug it. It was inexpensive so I can’t really complain.

In case you wondered what a burger patty actually looked like in this, I included a photo of a normal sized one. I expected the thing to be tiny though, and with that in mind, it's awesome for a single serving!

I had to have the first grill replaced, as it did not work, however Amazon replaced it immediately and the second has worked beautifully for an entire season. This is my second Foreman grill- the first gave good service for 3 years and then died an electronic death. I considered that for the price, that was a good term of service and replaced it with a similar model. This is just the right size for a small meal for two, handles burgers and hot dogs, grilled onions and tomatoes easily and does a nice job. I put the buns on top to warm while the burgers are cooking, and they get just perfectly warmed. It doesn't come apart for cleaning, but is small and easy to hold by the sink, cleans up quickly because of its non-stick surface. I can recommend this to anyone who needs a small grilling appliance.

T-Bone steak was really too much, BUT only because of the bone which obviously did not squeeze with temperature and cooking became less even so I had to remove it and finish separate pieces. Non the less it has almost done the job and for other single serve patty/bagel/toast/vegetables it works great.

I purchased this item on my own with no compensation for this review. Please click on Helpful at the bottom of this review if what I wrote is useful to you. I had an outside grill and considered it ridiculous to fire it up for just two burgers, particularly in cold weather. So I put one on here, it cooks in two minutes, and I put the other one on while I eat the first one. Yes it would be nice if the plates came off for cleaning, and yes, it really holds only one burger at a time. But for me it does the trick perfectly. HOWEVER: When I first fired it up, it emitted a horrible smell that was similar to a decomposing animal. I cooked my burgers, ate them, and didn't have to go to the Emergency Room, and haven't used it since. I'm going to assume the smell will have burnt off by the next time I use it. I checked the Owners Manual and there was no narrative on letting it run for a few minutes before its first use. I'll come back and re-edit this once I use it again.

Be aware, this grill is quite small. You might only be about to cook about one burger patty at a time. It says two servings but that's a stretch. Other than that, it saves time and saves you from dirtying up your pans. So far I've used it mostly for burgers, both homemade and premade frozen patties. I've also cooked up some Italian sausage. Love how convenient it is. Only downside is the cleaning. I use a moist paper towel and a little elbow grease and that's it. The grease can be a little stubborn at times but it's not so bad. The fact that I don't have to deal with grease splatters over my stove more than makes up for it.

Awesome little grill. A 1/3 pound turkey burger or 1/4 pound beef burger fits nicely, but the illustrations showing Two burgers .. well they'd have to be smaller to fit this grill. The grill does not have a timer .. for me, an absolute necessity. I found an affordable solution here on Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G6O28NA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which can be set for whatever you find works for your application. After some experimentation, I found that the 1/3 pound turkey burger thawed, or the 1/4 pound beef burger frozen, cooks in 5 minutes, from turn on to turn off .. no preheat time is added. With the timer once programmed in Countdown Mode, the program is static, and only requires pressing the "Confirm" button, to again start the turn-on and countdown to turn off cycle. For you fellow off-grid folks out there, 1/12th hour (5 minutes) times .75 Kw equals 0.0625 Kwh per burger .. 62 1/2 watt-hours. Without the timer, I was making jerky-burgers .. so the timer is also highly recommended. I'll order another, for the rice cooker .. also another set-it-and-forgot-it device. Whatever you grill, make sure you follow the product's recommendations for reaching the minimum internal product temperature to insure food safety, typically 165*F. Cheers!

we grilled two perfect grilled cheese and our teacher didn't notice!

I needed to replace my old George Foreman grill - I’m single so I didn’t need/want a big bulky appliance. I was dead set on getting this classic, no nonsense size - I love it! It fits my lifestyle perfectly! Burgers, chicken, steak tips, ribeyes in minutes- cooked perfectly, delicious and cleans and stores in a snap!

I replaced my 20 year old previous small version of this grill with this newer model. This unit is lighter & the top part of the unit is not as heavy so it does not squeeze the meat as much. This newer model also has more of a hinged lid than my previous older model. This newer unit does not heat as fast & hot which is better. The older unit cooked too hot & too fast. I use my grill a little different than most people probably. I dislike cleaning grease splatter off my black glass stove top so I don't fry anything on my stove. I use this grill to cook most of the grease out of the burger patty & then I transfer the patty to a small fry pan to complete the cooking process. I start some thinly sliced onions in olive oil in a covered fry pan on the stove at the same time that I put the burger on the grilling machine. The onions are soft & cooked by the time that the grease has cooked out of the patty. I then coat each side of the patty with approximately a teaspoon of teriyaki sauce when I place the patty in the pan with the onions. I cover & cook the burger patty with the onions a few minutes longer (with no grease splatter), pile the onions on top of the patty, place a slice of cheese on top & place the patty between a bun that has both sides lightly buttered on the top & bottom, then brown the bun both sides in the pan & serve. This makes for a very flavorful & juicy burger if you don't mind cleaning another pan. I also cook some frozen fries in my air fryer at the same time so everything is ready at the same time. I have not found the grill surfaces difficult to clean. I place 2 folded dampened paper towels between the closed grill plates after I unplug it. The grill plates easily wipe clean after I have eaten my meal. I use 2 additional damp paper towels to finish cleaning the grill surfaces. I don't need to use soapy water at all to completely clean the grill surface. Very little greasy mess to clean up after eating. My kind of cooking! Not sure how they get away with calling this grill a 2 serving size grill. There is no way you will get 2 average size burger patties on this grill. The grill surface is only 7.5 inches wide & it states in the directions not to crowd the cooking surface. I guess you are supposed to eat 3 inch wide burgers! You might be able to fit 2 small slider size burger patties, but even that would be a tight squeeze. You might as well cut the serving size in half for any of these grills. I have a 4 serving size grill also & you can only fit 2 burger patties on that grill. Really poor marketing in that respect!!
