I know it's going to sound crazy but I wanted these to store winter/weather gear. My husband has a work van and with the endless possibilities of scenarios that he may be put into he needs to have several sweatshirts, extra-clothing, gloves, etc. at the ready. He could just go dirty or wet or however but I don't want him to have to do that and with doing service work he needs to look good for the customers. So I bag up these 'supplies' and he keeps them in his work van if he needs them and I put them in bags to protect them. Other bags that I have purchased in the past were loud and hard. I know that sounds crazy but if you purchase these bags you'll know what I mean. These bags are soft, quiet and hold up to the task that I need them for and protect his clothes from the daily mess and grime that they may come in contact with. :) Great buy! I just wish that they had more in bulk that I could order! I love this bad in-particular and will be purchasing again!

I've been using these bag for several weeks now to shrink wrap items for my business. I have absolutely zero complaints - I've gone through several hundred bags now and haven't had any issues with bags not shrinking or tearing, etc. Consistent every time, which is impressive. I'm using a Black & Decker heat gun (purchased here on Amazon for under $20), and these shrink perfectly. I haven't tried using a hairdryer to shrink them, so I have no idea if that would work or not but that's not what these bags are designed to be used with. Anyway, a heat gun is cheap and a very fast way to shrink these. I'm a happy customer and will be back for more.

I’ve used a few different POF bag brands and so far they have all performed about the same. These work fine for merchandising our products. Polyolefin bags make for much softer corners than PVC, so we usually use them on round and oddly shaped products. It also doesn’t make the loud crinkling sound. Poly usually takes slightly higher temperature to shrink and seal than PVC. It’s also a little bit easier to melt through if your product surface has big holes/gaps in it.

These work exactly as expected. I've used heat shrink bags and rolls of various sizes and thicknesses for years, and there's not a lot of mystery to it. If the bags aren't shrinkingfor you, you're heat source is too low, too far away, or you're moving it too much. If you're getting holes, the heat is too high, too close, or you're keeping it in the same position too long. If you still have trouble, I suggest watching some videos of people using this type of product rather than waste a lot of materials experimenting. It may turn out what you're trying to seal needs another gague or type, but these should work for most things. Once you get the hang of it, you'll wonder how you ever lived without them before. They're just great for so many things, like bringing gift giving or packaging food for a bake sale to a whole new level.

Absolutely loved these! No odor, didn’t break, vent holes got the air out nicely. Couldn’t be happier! Great for sealing up custom Nintendo games. Plastic feels exactly like original factory seal

I cannot see how the wrap will not shrink unless incorrect heating procedures are taken. I bought the 5.6x10 80 gauge bags, and each bag will wrap 2 large bath bombs. As with everything, practice is needed when using a new product, and I wasted a few bags in the process. However, this should be expected from any unfamiliar product. The bags shrink just fine and seal nicely, and are stronger than the food service wrap I was using previously.

I chose these bags over the PVC because this type is healthier for you and for the people that are using your products, as bad odor toxic fumes comes from the PVC bags when they are exposed to heat, they are also hard to unwrap, while this product is safer to use, no bad odors when exposed to heat, and they are easy to unwrap, the hair dryer won't be able to do the job perfectly , but with a heat gun they shrink immediately using the lowest settings (mine was from melto), I used a shea butter container that had just arrived from Amazon to test the shrinking process wandering will the heat required for shrinking affects the wrapped product and melt it, so after wrapping it, and reopening it , shea butter was intact which means the temperature did not reach higher than 40 C, that is just perfect. (the container was a little bit bigger than the bag so I forced it inside, a tiny spot of shea butter was melted but that was just underneath the spot where there were no covering of the bag). I made a video but it did not upload so here are the pictures.

I ordered these for wrapping soap bars and ordered them somewhat oversized due to some comments about smaller bags being a tight fit. These have about 3/4-1" margin all around my bar before shrinking. My first attempt was with an industrial heat gun without temp control and I tried one bar with the bag end open and the other with the bag end lightly sealed with a small X-acto knife slit in a corner to allow air out when shrinking. I think getting a good shrink is really all about patience and technique. Both bags shrunk very cleanly when using the low setting and gradually moving in closer until the bags started shrinking and no closer. There were some initial fisheyes which were easily worked out and some minor dog ears at the corners, particularly the one I slit so as not to split the bag if I overdid things. The unsealed bag left a somewhat unsightly opening on one end and since I use no fragrance in soaps I don't really need an opening. The lightly sealed bag had a much cleaner look. I expect a variable temp gun would do the job better mostly in terms of maybe being faster and not having to creep up on the bag. I didn't find the bags flimsy or difficult to handle. I also didn't notice any discoloration or color cast once shrunk. I would buy these again and will probably have to in short order. My last batch resulted in 72 bars alone.

I have been very frustrated lately receiving junk not as advertised. This is as advertised, and a great deal actually saving me money and making the yearly fee worth it. My local office supply wants $65 for 100 of these in same size and mill, and this was $12 for 200 and same day delivery.

Install Flash Player I have ordered these several times, and will continue to do so. Let me tell you, I'm very familiar with the minor annoyances of shrink wrapping by now. After dozens of seals in a sitting, the kind that have loud crinkling, slow-to-shrink plastic, and noxious fumes become unbearable. These bags? Are the good stuff. They're an excellent shape that I can use to seal multiple things. Their pre-sealed edges never have holes, and they seal cleanly on my thermal sealer. This type of plastic also has a much-much-MUCH lighter and less offensive scent than other shrinkwraps, especially the fumes of PVC. A light breeze from a fan, and I can't smell a thing. Even better they're 100% recycleable. I've wrapped hundreds of items for my business in these bags, and I've had zero issues with them. They separate from each other easily, they open easily, and they are thin enough to smell contents through while still protecting items inside from water and dust. They also arrive quickly when I need them, and they don't come in a wrinkled or messy pile. Also, contrary to some of the (clearly false) reviews below, they do seal with sufficiently powerful food sealers, shrink very well even with just a hair dryer. The bags also have a smooth, supple texture that is easy and pleasant to work with. Plus they don't make obnoxiously loud crinkling sounds as you fill them. 5 stars, I'll keep on wrapping in these, thanks.
